💡Key Takeaways

Strategic Integration and Buy-in

• Storytelling for Buy-in: Marketers should use their "best weapon," storytelling, to explain how AI fits into strategic objectives.

• Focusing on the "Three Ps": Integrating AI allows marketing teams to automate repetitive tasks and focus on the most important aspects of their role: promoting, positioning, and protecting the brand.

• A Tool, Not a Replacement: AI should be viewed as a tool to sharpen messaging and increase efficiency rather than a replacement for human employees. Mateo emphasizes the importance of the human touch, especially in creative endeavours.

Key AI Tools for Marketing

Mateo highlighted several tools that have been successful for his team:

• Eleven Labs: Used for high-quality voice cloning and voiceovers, replacing older tools like Speechify that sounded too robotic.

• HeyGen: A text-to-video platform that creates avatars for social media content.

• Opus Pro: Automatically breaks down long-form content (like 45-minute podcasts) into short, viral clips with captions.

• Goblin Tools (Magic to do): Breaks down complex marketing tasks into actionable checklists, which is particularly helpful for training junior staff.

• Agent.ai: A platform created by the founder of HubSpot that allows users to hire or build AI agents for tasks.

• NotebookLM: Described as "ChatGPT on steroids," it uses Gemini to create study guides, podcasts, and presentations while providing specific sources for its answers.

Advice for Using AI

• Master the Art of Prompting: Mateo suggests using the RACE framework (Role, Action, Context, Explanation/Example) to get better results. Instead of a simple request, tell the AI it is a "seasoned chef" or "marketing expert" to receive a more comprehensive response.

• Prioritize Privacy: Users must be vigilant regarding company privacy and avoid putting sensitive information into public LLMs.

• Overcome FOMO: While it is easy to feel pressured by the speed of AI development, Mateo advises taking time to do due diligence, utilizing free trials, and integrating tools at your own pace.
